It eliminates undesirable protein molecules such as elastin, albumin, mucoids, and globulin while preserving collagen. It also provides optimum scud and natural dirt removal. Our Leather Bating Enzyme aids in the penetration of tanning materials and processing chemicals. Skins are treated with this enzyme during the bating process to open the fibrous structure of the skins and increase their suppleness.
